Bruins remain unbeaten, shutdown rival Colfax

“The whole team will remember this game forever,” said Bear River running back and linebacker Cody Heard after the Bruins took down their league rival Colfax, 24-14, Friday. The Bruins were forced to answer the call early after giving up a quick 62-yard touchdown run to the Falcons’ star running back Tim Rawlins on the second play of the opening drive. The next play from scrimmage, the Bruins’ quarterback Dillon Smith completed an 80-yard bomb to wide receiver Tevyn Kimble to knot the game 7-7.
