Tim Fike, former fire chief of Nevada County Consolidated Fire District, was honored by the Nevada County Board of Supervisors during Tuesday’s regular meeting. Fike was not in attendance for the ceremony as he was away as part of an incident command team fighting a wildland fire, said Supervisor Hank Weston.
