The Rotary Club of Nevada County South hosted its 10th annual Golf Classic fundraiser Aug. 25 at Alta Sierra Country Club. Billed as “the most fun you can have with your knickers on,” participants were encouraged to wear period golf attire from the 1920s and ’30s. After the tournament, an awards banquet took place with cash prizes going to the overall winners, Josh McGovern, Krista Wylder, Marc Engellenner and Matt Lewis.
