The Nevada Union girls tennis team is the $5,000 grand-prize winner of the 21st annual Gold Country Duck Race, which took place Sunday on Deer Creek in Nevada City. The $5,000 grand-prize check was accepted by NU tennis coach Nick Bodley. Bodley said he hopes to use the money to add benches, shade and other spectator improvements at the tennis courts, and for other team needs.
