Magic Carpet closing shop Company to remain open in an online capacity

Nevada City's Magic Carpet, a high-end carpet retailer, cleaner and repair service, has informed its customers that they will be closing their shop at the New York Hotel on Broad Street after 32 years, owner Paul Jorgensen told The Union."We're one of the pillars," Jorgensen said of his three decades in Nevada City. Some of Magic Carpet's customers learned the news of the impending closure through a announcement in the mail from Jorgensen and his wife and co-owner, Eileen.
