Carl and Joyce Plaza of Nevada City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 23. Carl and Joyce were married in Reno, Nev., in 1962. They both went to Fremont High School in Sunnyvale. They moved and retired in Nevada City in 1993.The couple has three children - Lynn Klass, Jeannette Thompson and Louanne Plaza. They also have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. …
