Recently the Private Industry Council of Butte County (PIC) notified Nevada County that they would be unable to continue operations of the Stonehouse Hospitality Academy. The academy had been operating successfully for almost two years and provided important hands on job training for young people ages 18-24 to develop job skills in the hospitality industry.The community is invited to attend a fundraiser on Thursday, May 5, at the Old Brewery (Stonehouse) in Nevada City.
