Mildred I. Washington died Feb. 20 at her home in Grass Valley. She was 82.A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 1, at the Trolley Junction Restaurant.Mrs. Washington was born Sept. 4, 1925, in Westfield, Mass., to Catherine (Savage) and Harry Jones. She received a bachelor of science in chemistry from the University of Montana. She married Allyn J. Washington on June 7, 1958, in Westfield, Mass.
