Nevada County celebrities will kick up their heels once again to raise money for the Center for the Arts in the second annual Dancing with Our Stars competition. Gangham Style, West Coast Swing, Tango, Salsa – whatever their favorite dance style may be – 11 regional celebrity dancers have accepted the challenge to train with a professional dancer and compete in front of a live audience and a distinguished panel of judges for the Dancing with Our Stars champion title.
The Center is proud to announce their 11 celebrity dancers and their partners. The teams include local stars paired with pros (stars are named first) who will compete Aug. 23 at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Grass Valley.

Last year's winning celebrity dancer, Dr. Brian Evans, will co-host with Center for the Arts executive director Julie Baker.
Tickets for the Center's biggest fundraiser of the year are now available, but premium table seating is already sold out. Tickets are $30 for general admission and are available at the Center's Box Office in person, by phone at 530-274-8384 ext. 14, online at http://www.thecenterforthearts.org or at BriarPatch Co-op.
Proceeds from Dancing with Our Stars benefit the Center for the Arts in downtown Grass Valley. A portion of the proceeds will go towards their capital campaign to bring handicapped access to their Main Stage Theater.
