The No. 4 seed Bear River girls basketball team will take on No. 5 seed Menlo at 7 p.m. Saturday at Jack R. McCrory Gymnasium in the second round of the NorCal tournament. The Lady Bruins have had a week to recover from their 50-40 loss to Bradshaw Christian in the Section title game, and will now look to make a deep run in the state tournament. Menlo (21-9) is coming off a Central Coast Section championship and a first round win over Moreau Catholic in the NorCal tourney.
