Lampchop in need of good home

Lambchop, lover of life’s little delights, is still available for adoption through AnimalSave. He is 5-months-old, crate-trained, good on the leash, loves other dogs, kids, people, the couch. Lambchop is a wirehair terrier/pitbull mix with a cute pink nose and brindle spot on his butt. This wonderful pup is deaf and needs a well fenced yard to be safe. He is trained using hand signals, which will be taught to his new person or family. Visit www.animalsave.org and complete an application if you are interested.

Happy tail for Blackie

Several months ago, The Union ran an article about Blackie, a special needs black cat brought to AnimalSave after her owner died.

Staff at the nonprofit pet adoption organization said it is thrilled to report that Blackie has found her forever home with a wonderful family dedicated to her care and happiness.

She receives insulin twice a day, enjoys a low carb diet, gets brushed several times a day and is thoroughly spoiled!

Anyone wishing to donate for her insulin can do so by calling 530-271-7071, ext. 204 or by mail, P.O. Box 817, Grass Valley, CA 95945.
