The Pioneer Arts Club of Grass Valley is pleased to present the 29th annual Northern Mines Exhibit and Sale from Sunday through Nov. 11.
There are 44 artists from Northern California participating in this prestigious, juried show, providing a wonderful opportunity for local residents to see a collection of exciting, original works of fine art.
New this year is photography.
The community will have a chance to meet the artists at a reception hosted at the Center for the Arts 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday. Award winners will be recognized at that time.
Pioneer Arts Club was pleased to have Tina Moore jury this show. Moore has been a professional artist and teacher for more than 25 years. She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America, the Sierra Pastel Society, the Women Artists of the West and a Distinguished Pastelist with the Pastel Society of the West Coast.
Moore is presently serving as president and Exhibits and Awards chair of the Pastel Society of the West Coast.
For those unable to attend the reception, the exhibit will remain through Nov. 11 at the Center for the Arts. The public is welcome to view art exhibits for free during business hours.
