Wildlife benefit at Prospector Nursery today

The second annual Wildlife Rehabilitation and Release benefit will help orphaned and injured native wildlife and their release. Event includes live music, food, wine, a raffle and wildlife “ambassadors” Chester the great horned owl, Tecumseh the red-tailed hawk and others. NU Choir hosts fundraiser for Estonia trip

The Nevada Union High School Choir will present “The Singing Revolution” documentary, along with a talk by the filmmaker James Tusty and a choir performance. Proceeds go toward the choir’s 2012 trip to Estonia. Doors open at 3 p.m. and the film begins at 4 p.m. at the Don Baggett Theater on the Nevada Union High School campus.
