25th annual Psychic Fair returns to Foundry

Nevada City’s 25th annual Psychic Fair returns Saturday and Sunday to Miners Foundry Cultural Center with an emphasis on the mind, body and spirit. For a quarter of a century, the Psychic Fair has brought together an interesting blend of alternative health professionals and metaphysicians in a warm and welcoming environment that also includes readings, lectures, workshops, and services.

“Many special things are planned for this milestone event including African dancers, minstrels, musicians, a mega-metaphysical market, readers, healers, body workers, ancient crystal skulls, and much more,” said Marza Miller, who has produced the Psychic Fair for the last eight years. “If you have never attended expect to find a high caliber of skilled people in their respective fields, plus a community minded event that attracts people who are interested in exchanging ideas and looking at new perspectives in life.”

For people interested in alternative medicine to those curious about the mystical, this year’s Psychic Fair offers attendees an array of new vendors including psychics, medical intuitives, acupuncturists, massage therapists, herbalists, and alchemists.

The Psychic Fair marketplace also features one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry, clothes, and accessories, natural skincare products, gem essences, crystals, and much more. Both adults and children can have their face painted or receive a henna tattoo, and delicious and tasty treats will be served all day. Special guest, certified medical intuitive, Michele Nocerino, will also be on hand. She is a naturally gifted intuitive healer who has inherited powerful and profound psychic gifts through several generations of her lineage. She is the daughter of famed parapsychology expert, Nick Nocerino, and the Guardian of the Ancient Crystal Skull, SHA NA RA. Learn more about her online at TheUnion.com/entertainment.

The Psychic Fair is also a fundraiser for the Foundry. For more than 150 years the Miners Foundry has been the hub of culture, innovation, creativity, and community in Nevada County. Proceeds from this event go towards the care and preservation of the historic building.

The fair is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 at the door.

SHA NA RA, Ancient Crystal Skull at Psychic Fair

Certified medical intuitive, Michele Nocerino is a naturally gifted intuitive healer who has inherited powerful and profound psychic gifts through several generations of her lineage. She is the daughter of famed parapsychology expert, Nick Nocerino, and the Guardian of the Ancient Crystal Skull, SHA NA RA. Nocerino and SHA NA RA will be in attendance at this weekend’s Psychic Fair at the Miners Foundry.

F.R. “Nick” Nocerino, was one of the foremost experts in all areas of parapsychology, teaching courses at universities and appearing on television shows like Johnny Carson. After he encountered his first crystal skull in France during WWII, he founded the Crystal Skulls Society International, examining hundreds of crystal skulls during his lifetime, including most of the known ancient crystal skulls. He used his gifts of psychic archeology to locate the ancient crystal skull, SHA NA RA, whom he named after one of his shamanic guides.

“My father believed that ancient crystal skulls were a doorway to a greater understanding of ourselves and our place in the universe in all its dimensions. It is with this understanding that I am honored to be of service with Sha Na Ra,” Nocerino said in his bio.

Norcerino now tours nationally and internationally with Sha Na Ra offering private sessions with SHA NA RA. Everyone’s experience while sitting with SHA NA RA is different. Some receive deep healing messages, or they have an enlightened thought process, sometimes just a gentle feeling of love is exchanged. It’s a very unique experience to spend time with one of these ancient crystal skulls. Sessions on are a first come first serve basis. Don’t miss one of the most unique experiences of your life.”
