Rocci Twitchell started studying the sweet science in the early '60s. A gritty throwback to the mid-20th century, the boxing trainer hasn't stopped learning and imparting that knowledge on others since.As a teenager, Twitchell laced up his gloves as a member of the Nevada Union boxing team under the tutelage of Ursal Snapp until he graduated in 1965."If you went to Nevada Union, you boxed," Twitchell said, "with ol' coach Snapp, and man was it a lot of fun."While Twitchell's in-ring boxing career ended after high school, his life-long love of the sport had just begun.November will mark 38 years …
