This fall, Jaynie Aydin will become director of the Twin Ridges Home Study Charter School. Although Aydin, 37, is new to Nevada County, she's a native Californian with an extensive background in education and administration. After graduating from an independent study high school in Southern California's Marina del Rey, Aydin went on to receive a bachelor of arts in anthropology from California State University, Northridge, and master of arts/Ph.D. in the interdisciplinary field of world arts and cultures at the University of California, Los Angeles.
