Martin (Marty) Ray Palmer died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Hospice. He was 56. Martin was born May 6, 1956, in Madera, Calif. He lived the most of his life in Nevada County. Marty worked for Caltrans and was an arborist for 30 years. He took to tree trimming as an art. He played electric guitar and enjoyed working in the garden and yard.
