Richard (Jack) Moltzen of Alta Sierra passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 9, 2012, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was 86. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Hooper and Weaver Mortuary in Nevada City.Jack was born November 29, 1925, in San Bruno, Calif. He served in the US Navy from 1943-1947. He married Grace Dillion on August 14, 1949.
