Edgar “Ed” Eugene Gorda passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012. He was 49.
He was born on Feb. 10, 1962, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Edgar was a hard-working man and much loved by his family and friends. We will miss him.
He leaves behind his mother, Elnora Whittington of Penn Valley; father, Fred Gorda of Lapha Hills, Fla.; son, Kyle; daughter, Tawnie of Loma Rica; grandson, Trenton of Yuba City; brothers, Michael Gorda of Smartsville, Steve Gorda, John Gorda, and Scott Whittington, all of Penn Valley; sister, Susan Gorda of Penn Valley; and many more family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his “dad,” Gene Whittington; and son, Christopher.
