Dan Logue (R-Wildwood) will no longer represent Nevada County and California's northern mountainous region, instead has decided to shift his focus to representing valley communities.
Despite announcing in November that he would run for Assembly District 1, multiple sources from Logue's office are confirming the Chief Minority Whip will run for the District 3 seat.
District 1 includes Placer, Nevada, Sierra, Plumas, Lassen, Shasta, Siskiyou, Modoc and half of Butte County.
District 3 is composed of Tehama, Glenn, Colusa, Sutter, Yuba and half of Butte County.
Brian Dahle (R-Susanville) has declared his intention to run for the District 1 Assembly seat.
