Caroline Reeves, a 2008 Nevada Union graduate, and the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Mustangs lost two heart breakers last week by a combined two points.
In Monday's game against Loyola Marymount the Mustangs (3-9) fell 73-72 despite a late run in the fourth quarter. In the loss, Reeves got the start at guard and scored 10 points to go with five rebounds in 24 minutes of action.
In Wednesday's 79-78 loss to San Diego State the Mustangs managed a halftime lead but were unable to hold it. Reeves chipped in eight points to go with two assists and two steals.
For the season, Reeves is averaging six points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists a game.

Josh Ritchart ( Forest Lake Christian, ‘10) UC Davis — Ritchart and the Aggies (1-11) continued to struggle, losing both games they played last week by wide margins.
In Tuesday's 79-59 loss to San Jose State Ritchart came off the bench for the third time this season. He scored six points and grabbed seven rebounds in 28 minutes of action.
Ritchart was back in the starting lineup Thursday for the Aggies 62-51 loss to Southern Utah. Ritchart scored two points and nabbed three rebounds in 27 minutes of playing time.
For the season, Ritchart is averaging 11.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game
The Aggies have lost eight in row and will try to stop the slide Jan. 5 against Big West Conference foe Cal State Fullerton.

Patrick Scott (Bear River, ‘09) Sonoma State — Scott and the Seawolves snapped a five game losing streak when they topped California Collegiate Athletic Association rival Chico State.
The Seawolves (3-6, 1-4) beat the Wildcats 61-54 for their first CCAA victory this season.
In the victory, Scott scored seven points and grabbed three rebounds in 17 minutes of floor time.
Scott is averaging 12.8 points per game this season to go with 3.8 rebounds per game.
The Seawolves will look to continue their winning ways when they return to the court Saturday against Humboldt State.
