Patrick Scott, a 2009 Bear River graduate, had a team high 16 points and six rebounds, but his Sonoma State Seawolves fell victim to a late surge by Humboldt State and lost 73-68.

The loss marks the fourth straight time the Seawolves have lost and the third time in California Collegiate Athletic Association play.

Through Sonoma State's first seven games Scott is averaging 13.6 points per game while grabbing 3.3 rebounds per game and dishing out just over two assists a game.

The Seawolves (2-5, 0-3 CCAA) will try to rebound with a win against Cal State Stanislaus Saturday.

Caroline Reeves (Nevada Union '08) Cal Poly San Luis Obispo — Reeves and the Mustangs got blownout Sunday by Sacred Heart, 89-69.

Reeves scored two points and grabbed two boards in 11 minutes of play time as the Mustangs fell to 3-5 on the season.

Through eight games Reeves has started four contests and is averaging 5.5 points a game to go with 3.9 rebounds per game.

Cal Poly will try to get back on the winning track Wednesday when it takes on Long Island.
