Celebrate our country's historic symbol, our flag, with a celebration at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Grass Valley Elks Lodge, 109 S. School St.

The celebration will include presentations of the flag's history, along with songs and an introduction of veterans.

The All Veterans Honor Guard will perform, including a moving rendition of taps. Marie Johnson of Foothill Flowers will pin a flower on each veteran as they enter.

The program will be followed by a free meal for all guests and participants.
