The season came to a close for the Nevada Union girls golf team after a sixth-place finish at the Masters Tournament on Monday in Lodi.
Christian Brothers took the top spot at the tournament with a team score of 399. Host team Lodi finished two back with a 401, and St. Francis placed third with a final of 402 at the par-72 Spanos Park Golf Course.
Those top three teams will advance to the next round of team competition, leaving the Sierra Foothill League's top two squads out.
Granite Bay came in fifth with a 447, and the Lady Miners finished the day with a 454.
The appearance in the Masters was a first for a girls golf team from Nevada Union.
