This week is the last of the season to visit the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum during its extended hours.
Starting next week, the museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays only; those hours will continue through April 30.
Hours this week are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Keep an eye out for announcement of the Dec. 3 Christmas party.
The museum is at 5 Kidder Court, Nevada City. You can get there from Hollow Way or New Mohawk Road, both off the Gold Flat Road exit on Highway 49. (Check out the gift shop while you're there.) Visit www.ncngrrmuseum.org or call (530) 470-0902 for more info.
