Friday - 83 calls for service

7:35 a.m. - A caller from the 700 block of Maltman Drive reported a transient in a sleeping bag, who was advised of the camping ordinance.

7:36 a.m. - A caller from Allison Ranch Road reported illegal dumping.

8:44 a.m. - A caller from Sierra College reported the theft of solar panels.

10:28 a.m. - A woman from the 100 block of Arcadia Drive reported being involved in a physical domestic dispute in Arizona yesterday with her husband, who dumped her in Grass Valley this morning.

10:56 a.m. - A woman from Freeman Lane and Taylorville Road reported a man broke her windshield.

1:03 p.m. - A caller from the 200 block of North Church Street reported teens shooting firearms. It was found to be firecrackers.

1:22 p.m. - A caller fromthe 100 block of Neal Street reported a man with bloody arms who said he had gotten into a fight with a tree and lost. He could not be located.

1:56 p.m. - A woman from the 200 block of Washington Street reported finding her back door open.

3:08 p.m. - A caller from the 100 block of Joerschke Drive reported a battery had been stolen from one vehicle and gas siphoned from another vehicle.

9:04 p.m. - A caller from the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported a party with loud music and underage drinking. A man was arrested on suspicion of violating probation and a person was taken to the hospital due to extreme intoxication.

9:12 p.m. - A caller from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported a physical fight involving a man and a woman in a vehicle. He had left the scene and she was uncooperative.

10:17 p.m. - A caller from the 200 block of Glenbrook Drive reported girls with stolen scooters, who could not be located.

11:31 p.m. - A caller from Mill and Neal streets reported a vehicle hit a pedestrian, who was transported to the hospital.

Saturday - 58 calls for service

12:24 a.m. - A caller from the 100 block of Lucas Lane reported partiers being rowdy and puking in the bushes. They agreed to stay inside.

11:41 a.m. - A caller from Highway 49 and Neal Street reported a man possibly exposing himself. He was cited on suspicion of indecent exposure.

3:55 p.m. - A caller from West McKnight Way reported a man hit a child and said he had no license to drive, but that he didn't care because he just got out of prison. A be-on-the-lookout advisory was issued.

4:09 p.m. - A caller from Mill Street reported a physical fight involving two men and two dogs. It was a verbal argument because one dog slipped its chain and attacked the other dog, which had a minor injury.

6:09 p.m. - A caller from West McKnight Way reported a woman took an item and a man hit a co-worker before leaving a store.

6:11 p.m. - A caller from Brighton and Chapel streets reported an extremely drunken man tried to hit his wife.

6:30 p.m. - A man from Memorial Park reported a woman bit him. He was uncooperative and was taken to the hospital. At 7:49 p.m., he reportedly threatened to kill a nurse and was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

7:57 p.m. - A caller from the 600 block of Whiting Street reported 12 or 13 children were banging on doors and running away.

8:08 p.m. - A woman from the 100 block of Hocking Street reported the theft of narcotic medication.

8:08 p.m. - A man from Juan Way reported detonators and explosives under his residence. He said his neighbors were conspiring to blow up or burn down his trailer.

10:04 p.m. - A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a woman shoplifting. No charges were desired.

11:25 p.m. - A woman from the 200 block of Depot Street reported a person possibly on her roof. A man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and an outstanding warrant.

Sunday

12:04 a.m. - A woman from the 200 block of Depot Street reported a neighbor tried to attack her with a hammer. The situation was mediated.

1:44 a.m. - A man from the 1800 block of East Main Street reported a person possibly broke a window. The person was found to be drunk and tripped over a patio table.

2:02 a.m. - A caller from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a fire alarm in a building. A woman was found to have set off the alarm after she burnt her Top Ramen.

9:03 a.m. - A caller from the 18000 block of Oak Tree Road reported an 11-foot portion of a fence had been taken.

10:06 a.m. - A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported a physical fight involving four men. It was a juvenile detainee issue.

12:48 p.m. - A caller from the 28000 block of New School Road West reported the theft of a no-trespassing sign.

5:20 p.m. - A caller from the 18000 block of Jayhawk Drive reported finding a 2-year-old boy, who was reunited with his mother.

6:36 p.m. - A man from Wheeler Acres and Dog Bar roads reported shooting a raccoon that was after his poultry.

8:18 p.m. - A caller from Ivey Lane and Tyler Foote Crossing Road reported a bunch of bikers causing a ruckus.

9:32 p.m. - A caller from the 16000 block of Highway 49 reported a woman kicking a door, who could not be located.

9:48 p.m. - A caller from Adam Avenue and Squirrel Creek Road reported a dog possibly attacking a person. No one was located.

9:59 p.m. - A caller from the 15000 block of Ballantree Lane reported hearing five gunshots.

12:25 a.m. - A caller from Indian Springs and Oak Springs roads reported two motorcycles tearing up the road.

8:32 a.m. - A caller from the 14000 block of Gold Creek Court reported a burglary to a vehicle, with an iPod and a GPS stolen.

8:38 a.m. - A caller from the 11000 block of Lakeshore North reported a vehicle burglary with $100 taken.

9:04 a.m. - A caller from the 10000 block of Sierra Drive reported a patient was throwing things.

9:49 a.m. - A caller from the 11000 block of Lakeshore South reported a vehicle burglary.

10:01 a.m. - A caller from the 10000 block of Oak Springs Road reported people in a residence without permission who were drunk and passed out and who had caused damage. Juveniles were returned to their parents.

10:57 a.m. - A caller from the 12000 block of Dog Bar Road reported animal cruelty and neglect.

1:08 p.m. - A caller from the hospital reported a victim of domestic violence from Gaston Drive, who was uncooperative.

1:40 p.m. - A woman reported being run off the road on Natasha Court and Old Downieville Highway, while she was riding a scooter.

1:54 p.m. - A caller from John Born and Pleasant Valley roads reported vandalism to mailboxes.

4:03 p.m. - A man from the 12000 block of Burma Road reported a dispute with his daughter, who was calling relatives to bring her food against his wishes. He was told the NCSO would not parent his children for him. He said that would cause a fight the NCSO wouldn't like. At 6:29 p.m., he called to report still being upset and saying he hears voices that tell him to hurt people.

4:24 p.m. - A caller from Highway 20 and Rough and Ready Highway reported vandalism to tires.

4:59 p.m. - A caller from Creek View Drive reported possible elder abuse.

5:21 p.m. - A caller from the 16000 block of Wolf Mountain Road reported identity theft.

5:44 p.m. - A caller from Highway 49 reported a motor home was trespassing and dumping its septic tank into a creek.

6:35 p.m. - Several callers reported hearing 18 to 20 gunshots by the old Nevada City airport.

6:36 p.m. - A woman from Robin Avenue reported strange things were happening to electronics and her neighbors might be videotaping her.

8:11 p.m. - A caller from Grand Oaks Place and Hidden Valley Road reported hearing two gunshots.

10 p.m. - A caller from the 11000 block of Creek View Drive reported hearing someone yelling for help.

10:03 p.m. - A man from the 24000 block of Scooter Bug Lane reported chasing off a man asleep on a motorcycle in his driveway.

12:59 a.m. - A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported two runaway juveniles.

3:06 p.m. - A caller from the 500 block of Sacramento Street reported a broken window.

3:36 p.m. - A caller from Broad and North Pine streets reported a clarinet player causing a disturbance.

12:41 a.m. - A caller from the 300 block of Spring Street reported a person passed out. A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

1:02 a.m. - A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported a fight. A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

12:12 p.m. - A caller from the 700 block of Zion Street reported a man asked for a ride and offered meth as payment. He could not be located.

Sunday

2:37 a.m. - A caller from the 100 block of Sacramento Street reported multiple gunshots. A second caller reported someone in a parking lot lighting fireworks. It was quiet when officers arrived.
