Sixth-grade students at Seven Hills Middle School in Nevada City are raising money for the annual week-long science camp at Marin Headlands, where they immerse themselves in studying marine life.
Papa Murphy's Pizza on Nevada City Highway — near Save Mart in the Fowler Center — is helping out by devoting a portion of sales on the second Monday of every month, through January, to the field trip. That includes tonight.
Store owner Charn Kang will dedicate 20 percent of the day's net sales to the sixth-graders, he said. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Call the store at (530) 274-8900 and mention the Seven Hills fundraiser.
