Former Nevada Union High School standout Erik Flores has qualified to compete in this week's Frys.com Open on the PGA Tour at CordeValle in San Martin, Calif.Flores, who went on to star for the UCLA Bruin golf program after his prep career with the Miners, is one of four open qualifiers for the Silicon Valley tournament, along with Matthew Marshall, Todd Fischer and Erick Justesen.
