The Union's article titled, “Deadly consequences, Students campaign against distracted driving” describe a project that snowballed into a growing circle of participants and support.
Developing a message that is received with all the audience's senses and actually influencing immediate positive change in the audience's personal life was the intent of Carolyn and Nate Rogers, Officer Heather Blancarte and Christa Baker. The SADD experiment video was a segment of the project that was supported with expertise of our local community television station, NCTV.
Kudos are extended to NCTV's Executive Director Paul Minicucci, Access Coordinator Terri Hicklin and interns Jorey Kiva and Onur Olmez.
Enthusiasm in our project and willingness to fulfill our conceptual ideas with technical expertise was the foundational substance that produced a message that is attracting communities beyond Nevada Union High School.
NCTV is a great team player for community projects like ours and deserves both recognition and consideration of other inspired children and adults that want to make a difference in the world.
