“The show must go on!” These are the words of Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra's (CATS) Executive Director Jeannie Wood. “No rain, sleet nor snow will keep ‘The King and I' from going on ...”

Last week's shows went on as scheduled and once the curtains opened Saturday night, all thoughts of snowy roadways went out the window.

What a delightful, dazzling production. The music, costumes and, of course, a wonderful cast made this a mesmerizing show.

The show will go on again this weekend no matter what the weather. This Friday's performance benefits Friends of the Nevada County Libraries. Contact (530) 265-1407 for tickets or purchase at the Nevada Theatre beginning at 7 p.m. Friday.

Kudos to CATS, InConcert Sierra and Sierra Stages for collaborating to bring such an excellent production.
