As a Bay Area resident visiting friends in Grass Valley over the weekend, I was delighted by the high quality of music at InConcert Sierra's wonderful and moving “Petite Panache” concert. But I was truly shocked to learn that Nikolai Lugansky, the preeminent Russian concert pianist, would be appearing in March at the same intimate venue (and that there are still tickets available). I am seriously considering missing two days of work to return for this Wednesday evening recital. We Bay Area residents can often hear artists of (or near) this caliber at our cavernous concert halls, but you Nevada County residents are truly blessed!
