A fabulous fundraiser was held recently at the Miners Foundry for InConcert Sierra's Sierra Master Chorale program.
MusicaliTEA was coordinated by Linda Maloney, Jill Horrigan and Carolyn Balle with author and tea expert Babette Donaldson.
InConcert Sierra Artistic Director Ken Hardin and Roberta Frank arranged the music.
Many choir members performed, volunteered or participated in some way. Most all the servers were singers.
Choir members also donated all the tea cups, saucers and tableware, making it fun with different colors and patterns.
One comment from a participant was “Don't change a thing!”
“We will definitely do this again next year,” said InConcert Sierra Executive Director Julie Hardin.
Funds raised from the event amounted to about $4,000.

Coming events
InConcert Sierra will present two concerts in March. The first is pianist Di Wu on March 20. Wu will perform Claude Debussy's “Préludes” and Ravel's “Miroirs.”“They are gorgeous, lush, sweeping pieces,” said Hardin.
Also presenting gorgeous, lush pieces, Nikolai Lugansky (one of three of the finest pianists in Russia) will perform Wednesday, March 30, after his March 28 performance with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco.
He is one of the “top Rachmaninoff interpreters in the world,” said Hardin.
Both performances will be at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Grass Valley.
