Bring on the broken electronics — Chicago Park School and Chicago Park 4-H Club are hosting an e-waste pickup Saturday.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Chicago Park School Parking lot, 15725 Mount Olive Road, just east of Grass Valley.
The 4-H club and school benefit from recycling the donations.
Acceptable contributions include computers and accessories, televisions and accessories, cameras and small household appliances.
Unacceptable items include large household appliances — refrigerators, washers and microwaves — hazardous household waste, light bulbs and batteries.
For more information, contact event coordinator Sue Ramey at (530) 273-2004.
