Beverly Haugland died June 26 in Grass Valley. She was 81.

She was born Dec. 24, 1927, in Grass Valley. She was employed as a bookkeeper for many years. She was active in Grass Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church and loved horses, riding and working with them.

She is survived by two nephews in Portland, Ore.
