Gold Country Senior Softball Association wants to take fans out to the ball game Tuesday night, as the Gold Country senior sluggers expect to be a hit as they host their annual All-Star games.
Two games for the price of none, as admission to the games is free, at Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley.
First up are the 63-and-over All-Star teams at 5:15 p.m. The 50-62 year-old stars take the field at 6:45 p.m.
Don Pryor and Randy Kephart will manage the 60-and-over ball clubs, which will be comprised by Frank Seman, Guy Selleck, Ray Patton, Danny Brock, Joel Guthrie, Ken Puckett, Steve Burnett, Greg Marshall, Bill Garehime, Myron Prychun, Tom Triplett, Bill Johnson, Bob Hannah, Bill Wilson, Larry Clark, Ed Kirkley, Howard Wilson, Frank Kasparian, Bill Howard, Jim Kerns, Bob Scaletti, Paul Hilton, George Sill, John Woodhall, Ron Spooner and Dave Finch.
The 50-62 year-old All Stars will be coached by Don Heyfron and Jeff Ackerman. Earning All-Star honors Bob Murry, Tom Hess, George Brindley, Dave Anderson, Jim Inman, Steve Mason, Dennis Tucker, Mark Neufeld, Bob DeHart, Greg Cattani, Jim Keck, Joe Macrina, Rich Ramirez, Mike Tipton, Jeff Rice, Bill Cordery, Bill Erdei, Al Bolen, Jim Ford, Danny Estin, Bob Hare, Steve Cochran, Missy Patton, Tony Clark, Rick Dawson and Mike Duffy.
A complete concession stand will be offered by the Bunco squad. Food, fun and festitivites commence at 5 p.m.
