Nevada County In-Home Supportive Services program providers must be re-enrolled with the county's Social Services office by June 30, or risk not getting paid.

If you haven't re-enrolled, call the Nevada Sierra Regional In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority at (530) 274-5601 for information. Or, stop by the authority office at 466 Brunswick Road in Grass Valley from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

The new enrollment process includes a form accepting the in-home program requirements; fingerprinting and a background check; and program orientation.

Re-enrollment is required by the 2009 Budget Act to prevent fraud and protect care recipients.
