Patricia Mary Westlund died April 29 in Grass Valley. She was 77.
Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wed., May 5, at Chapel of the Angels Mortuary. Recitation of the Rosary will start at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 6, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. A graveside service will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.
She was born on Aug. 3, 1932, in St. Louis, Mo., to Carl and Anna Pohlmann.
She attended San Dieguito High School in Encinitas, Calif., the Los Angeles County School of Nursing, and St. Mary's College in Moraga, Calif.
She married Kenneth Westlund in 1953. She worked as a registered nurse for 40 years.
Mrs. Westlund was a member of the Ruby Nuggets Red Hats, the Doll Club, Travel Club and the Newcomers Club.
She enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth Westlund, in 2007.
Mrs. Westlund is survived by her daughters, Holly (Phil) Champagne, Heidi (Daniel) Raudy and Heather Wilson; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hetty's House.
Arrangements are by Chapel of the Angels Mortuary and Crematory, Grass Valley.
