Tuesday night the Grass Valley City Council voted unanimously to pursue the addition of the Glenbrook Basin to the city's Redevelopment Agency.
The resolution cleared the city to spend about $120,000 in RDA funds for a feasibility study on the potential annexation. The goal is to annex roughly 600-acre in the Glenbrook Basin. The agency is funded separately from the city and is a tool for completing infrastructure upgrades.
Currently the RDA oversees about 400 acres in downtown Grass Valley.
