High school district calls special board meeting to approve layoffs

Nevada Joint Union High School District trustees will meet 3 p.m. today to vote on accepting a tentative furlough agreement with the teachers union.

Board members will also approve preliminary layoff notices.

The meeting will take place at the district office, 11645 Ridge Road, Grass Valley.
