A high-tech firm from Silicon Valley announced today that it will be moving here in the next few months.
Huntington Mechanical Laboratories of Mountain View plans to move into a 25,000 square-foot warehouse near the Nevada County Airport according to firm co-owner Ron Hooper.
The company now has 40 employees and another 20 to 25 will be added when the firm arrives, including engineers, welders, machinists and business support personnel.
The private company does research and development for the semiconductor industry and built the container that NASA astronauts used to gather rocks from the moon, Hooper said.
