Gary and Susan Sharpe of Nevada City are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Sharpe, to Scott Sletner (pictured), the son of Donald and Barbara Sletner of Millville.
The future bride, a 1999 graduate of Nevada Union High School, graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration.
The future groom, a 1999 graduate of Foothill High School in Redding, graduated from California State University, Chico in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
Both Melissa and Scott work for Genentech, Inc. and reside in Davis.
The couple will marry June 26, 2010, in Roseville.
