Chris and Janis Duckett of Auburn have announced the engagement of their daughter, Shanna Duckett, to Robert (Bobby) Venal (pictured), son of Fred and Vicky Venal of Warren, Pa.
The future bride, a 2003 graduate of Bear River High School, graduated from George Fox University in Newberg, Ore., with a degree in computer science in 2007.
The future groom graduated from Pampa High School in 1997 and received his degree in math from the University of Northern Colorado.
Shanna and Bobby both work for Barclays Bank as computer programmers. Both enjoy snowboarding and playing video games.
They will be married in January in Colorado Springs, Colo. They will honeymoon at Disney World in Florida and reside in Colorado Springs.
