Harvest Fest was huge success

All of us at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada County would like to thank Loma Rica Ranch and Organic Farm for benefiting our mentoring programs at their 5th Annual Harvest Festival in October.

At this wonderful event, they raised $2,700 for our mentoring programs, and Rock-n-Horse Ranch donated another $300 collected from their wagon rides, all of which will benefit the many kids we have on our waiting list wanting and needing a Big Brother or Big Sister mentor.

We are grateful to all the staff and volunteers at the Harvest Festival, as well as everyone who attended the Festival, for making this event a success for our kids. We'd like to give special thanks to Loma Rica Ranch owner Philip Carville and Harvest Festival Coordinator Nell Scannon, as well as Rock-n-Horse Ranch owners Randall Gross and Trish Browne, for all they have done to support mentoring and at-risk children in our community over the years!
