A video produced by Nevada Union High School students has advanced to the top four in the state's H1N1 public service announcement contest.
With public voting closed and official judging in progress, the winner could be announced any day. The NU students' submission is “definitely in the top,” California Department of Public Health spokeswoman Teri Hodges said today.
Alex Ramsey, Daniel Lawson and Ian Lynn, all 14 years old, and 16-year-old Casey Martinson stand to win a $500 prize if their video takes first place.
The video is the first effort of the school's newly-formed Film Club, of which Martinson is president.
