A super special treat is in store Friday with Island Smoothie's owner and chef, Cheryl Neumann. Cheryl will be preparing cioppino in the shop and answering questions concerning your holiday cioppino feeds. She will be using all of the freshest seafood, shellfish and crab. Please bring your questions and taste buds. Free samples of cioppino and French bread will be available.
Cioppino will be available for purchase for take-out. To assure availability, please call (530) 274-2919 to pre-order quarts to go.
All of the ingredients will be on hand throughout the holidays for bouillabaisse and cioppino. Pre-orders are encouraged, so that we may provide a variety of the freshest fish and shellfish available.
The demonstration will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Friday at Nevada City Seafood, 1020 Whispering Pines, Ste. G, Grass Valley.
