They started dating while in high school. They are 2006 graduates of Nevada Union High School.
The future bride is the daughter of Ana Maria and Arturo Gutierrez of Grass Valley. She works for Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital and is attending Sacramento City College
part time.
The future groom is the son of Irma and Jose Calderon of Penn Valley. He works for the family business, El Coyote Joe Landscaping, and attends Sierra College part time.
The couple plan to marry July 24, 2010, at St. Patricks Catholic Church with a reception to follow in Nevada City.
Special guests will include the groom's uncle and family from Juarez, Mexico, and his aunt and family from Guanajuato, Mexico.
The couple will honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico.
