Bethany Faith Tyler (formerly Segura) of Grass Valley and Matthew David Tyler (pictured) of San Diego were married Aug. 1 at the Enchanted Forest in Fallbrook. David Wojnicki, associate pastor of Valley Center Community Church, officiated.
The maid of honor was Nicki Segura. The bridesmaids were Sarah Colwell, Taryn Clapp and Callan Kaut.
The best man was Jon Strong. The groomsmen were Kelly Stewart, Andrew Behneman and Charlie Weaver.
Other attendants were Laura Kiralla and Jonathan Rojas.
The bride is the daughter of Deb Prentice and David Segura.
She is a 2004 graduate of Nevada Union High School.
She is pursuing her love of visual and performing arts, with a possibility of graduate studies in the future.
The groom is the son of Nadene Landa and Dave Tyler.
He is a 2002 graduate of Valley Center High School.
He is currently attending Westminster Theological Seminary in Escondido, and he is interning in children's ministries at Valley Center Community Church. He will graduate with an M.A. in theology in the spring of 2010.
The couple met at Westmont College in Santa Barbara. Matthew graduated in 2006 with a degree in religious studies, and Bethany graduated in 2008 with a degree in theater arts.
After dating for three years, Bethany decided to move to San Diego County to be near her love, and they had their fairy tale wedding.
The couple honeymooned in Quebec City, Montreal, and New York City.
They are loving their early days of marriage and are looking forward to starting their own family someday.
They live in Escondido.
