The Nevada County Jobs and Fact Finding Meeting organized by Assemblyman Dan Logue, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the Nevada County Government Center Board Chambers at 950 Maidu Ave. in Nevada City.
Nine area business representatives will testify to a panel consisting of Logue and local officials from the Nevada County and Sierra County boards of supervisors, the towns of Truckee, Nevada City, and Grass Valley.
The hearing is open to the public to witness the plight of California businesses as they navigate through state rules and mandates.
The meeting is the fourth in a series of fact finding hearings held by Logue to obtain first hand testimony as to how and why California businesses remain.
The feedback from the hearings will be used to shape legislation to assist California employers in complying with state laws and regulations.
