A 6th degree black belt, Cynthia Hayashi is one of the highest ranking female aikidoists in the world. She has used her aikido-based self-defense in real life and teaches around the world.

You can join Cyndy Sensei at two seminars on Nov. 13 and 14. Cyndy Sensei will be teaching a women's only (ages 15 and up) self-defense class from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13. The self-defense seminar is limited to 30 participants. Since last year's self-defense seminar filled up, be sure to register as early as possible.

Cyndy Sensei will also be teaching an aikido seminar, to which everyone is welcome on Saturday, Nov. 14. Aikido'Ka is at 142 East McKnight Way, Grass Valley.
