Police Department

Tuesday

8:58 a.m. — A caller from Elisabeth Daniels Park reported several juveniles went into a bathroom and hadn't come out. The bathrooms were checked and were clear.

9:52 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of North Church Street reported vandalism at a house she was house sitting.

9:56 a.m. — A caller reported a two car accident with property damage at Idaho Maryland Road and Centennial Road.

10:17 a.m. — A caller from Rite Aid on Sutton Way reported a man who had stolen from them earlier in the day. He had returned and attempted to run out with beer. He was arrested and booked on burglary charges.

10:44 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported medication was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at Circle K overnight.

11:23 a.m. — A caller reported a possible drunk driver in a Mercedes at the McKnight Road exit.

11:48 a.m. — A caller from the 1600 block of East Main Street reported a man in a white Ford F250 was threatening to beat him up. The suspect was advised not to return to the business.

12:56 p.m. — A caller reported a blue Chevy truck with trash in the back had been at the 100 block of Arcadia Drive for four years. Police initiated abandoned vehicle proceedings.

1:10 p.m. — A caller reported a man driving a Pontiac passed another vehicle on Sutton Way at Dorsey Drive and almost hit the caller.

1:59 p.m. — A caller from the Shell station on South Auburn Street reported they sold alcohol to a woman in a white Nissan Maxima who poured it into a cup and was going to drive off. The caller later said they confiscated the alcohol and cup.

2:24 p.m. – A caller reported an older woman driving a Buick was swerving in the road on westbound East Main Street.

3:58 p.m. — A caller from Prosperity Lanes on Henderson Street reported a man who was taking money from a tip jar. The caller confronted the man, who returned the money.

4:02 p.m. — Two callers from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported a middle-aged man who was exposing himself. He was cited for indecent exposure and public intoxication.

4:04 p.m. — A person reported theft of Oxycontin, but left the police department before a report could be taken.

4:52 p.m. — A caller from Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital reported an out of control patient who left with an IV in his arm. He later returned.

9:08 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Race Street requested extra patrol for possible transients. He said power and water were shut off at the residence he was watching, then had been switched on again.

11:42 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported medications for blood pressure, pain, blood sugar and diuretics were missing.

11:54 p.m. — A woman in the 100 block of South Auburn Street was cited and released for child abduction.

Wednesday

12:12 a.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of Segsworth Way reported the theft of an HP Pavilion laptop.

12:25 a.m. – A cab driver on Colfax at Memorial Lane reported

a woman who would not pay the

full fare.

4:05 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Dorsey Drive reported she heard a woman scream, then shoveling. She believed someone might be buried behind an apartment.

5:28 a.m. — A caller from the Flour Garden reported possible indecent exposure by a man wearing polka dot pajama pants. Police contacted the man and advised him to dress more appropriately and not enter the Flour Garden or he would be arrested for trespassing.

Tuesday

8:53 a.m. — Highway patrol officers requested assistance at a road rage incident at the 11000 block of Sycamore Court that involved damage to a vehicle.

9:48 a.m. — A caller from Bear River High School reported a marijuana possession incident.

12:37 p.m. — A caller reported a possible death at a home on Old Coach Way and Lower Colfax Road. The house had an overgrown yard and he hadn't see the elderly man who lives at the residence in months. The house was found to be abandoned and no one was inside.

2:09 p.m. — Highway patrol officers requested assistance for a possibly suicidal driver in a silver Ford Focus who was reportedly trying to hit other vehicles head on along eastbound Highway 20.

2:42 p.m. — A caller reported a man driving in a black Chevy Blazer had just run him off the road along Highway 20 near the Five Mile House. The case was transferred to the CHP.

4:29 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Metcalf Road reported she heard a male subject in the area yelling, “I'm gonna kill you, I'm gonna kill you.”

4:56 p.m. — Two callers from the 16000 block of Airport Road reported hearing shots from airport property and suspected a high powered rifle.

Wednesday

12:18 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Creek View Drive reported a neighbor playing guitar and harmonica loudly, causing dogs to bark. She says the noise was a violation of a written agreement between the neighbors. The caller later said the noise had stopped.

7:23 a.m. — A caller from the 22000 block of Iron Horse Drive reported an injured fawn was caught in her fence.
